Return, Exchange and Shipping Policy

Silver to Strands is a made-to-order jewelry business, each piece is carefully crafted by hand, with loving attention to detail and quality. Please note that, individually, stones can vary in tone, shade, hue and pattern, so no two pieces are ever identical.
Stones may also vary slightly in color or shape from pictures posted on my website.

Processing Time and Order Tracking:
All orders are produced and shipped within 15 business days.
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details. You can track your order through the emailed link to stay updated on its progress.
I am not responsible for shipping delays once orders have been delivered to the carrier.
However, in most cases i can assist with any US tracking or lost order support.

Return Policy:
Custom and International orders on non-returnable
Returns are always accepted, unless it is a Custom or International order.
If you are unsatisfied with the product for any reason, I am happy to accommodate a return request within 31 business days of the receipt of the order.
Items must be undamaged, show no sign of wear and still be in the original packaging.
If there are any issues with an international order, even though it is not returnable, please contact me if there is an issue with any Silver to Strands products.

Return shipping labels are provided at no additional cost.
Once I receive the returned item, I will immediately issue a refund.
Exchange:
As Silver to Strands products are made-to-order, I cannot accommodate size exchanges. If you have received your order and are looking to exchange for sizing or a stone change, you must request a return and then reorder your desired replacement.

Shipping Method:
My shipping carrier is primarily through USPS (Postal) & comes with shipment tracking. UPS, Fedex, and DHL are available upon request. If you do not wish to use USPS please contact me via email (silvertostrands@gmail.com) for a rate quote.
Orders are typically shipped in 4x6 crushproof boxes.
Please note that the return (shipped from) address lists the company as StoStrands.
International Shipping:
Shipping rates for International orders are quoted at a flat rate (Please note VAT and fees section for EU, Australia and Canada shipping below), based on the least expensive rate for each specific country - in choosing this option to keep it more cost friendly, this option may be slower than other more expensive options. Please allow 1-3 weeks for orders to arrive after being shipped.
After your order has been shipped, you will receive a fulfillment email with a tracking number that you can use to monitor your order while it is in transit.
If any shipping, customs forms or other paperwork issues occur, I will actively work with all customs authorities to resolve any customs issues as soon as possible and notify you via email of any delays.
As Silver to Strands is made-to-order & U.S based, International orders are NOT eligible for returns.
Please note that EU countries require a VAT tax for all orders from the United States.
I do collect VAT as part of Silver to Strands purchases.
Import VAT is charged on the value of the goods plus transport costs, customs duties, consumption tax and costs of transport within the EU. This VAT is charged at a set rate of 19%.
Products are pre-identified as silver jewelry via US Customs ITN paperwork, and are registered as harmonization code 7113.11.000.
EU countries that require VAT are: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.Australian and Canadian orders also require customs fees and taxes, but those are flat (not %) and are applied as a flat cost which is included in shipping.
Canadian orders have a different custom fee for orders over $200 USD.
